Gallo Center for the Arts
The building is stunning. Tonight was the first time I had been there.
The Gallo Center for the Arts opened in September of 2007. Nearly a decade later it is immaculate. The seating is like new. My granddaughter was commenting on how soft her seat was. The theater was sold out to a crowd of excited children.
My granddaughter and the little girl next to her quickly became friends. They played with their toys and took selfies while waiting for the show to begin.
For her first theater visit she saw Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live.
We found a few souvenirs. She got a surprise egg with a dinosaur inside. The egg she had dropped and the dinosaur was revealed.
After the show, the puppeteers brought out some of the smaller dinosaurs for the kids to see up close and personal.
Around this time she realized she lost her dinosaur. We went back to the souvenir table and she selected a new surprise egg. She is going to have it hatch in a glass of water like the directions say. She also selected a dinosaur excavation kit.
We had a great night! If you live in the Modesto area, the Gallo Center is well worth the visit.
If Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live comes to your area, it is well worth going to. It is educational, interactive, and a great time. Tour locations and dates are here.
I received tickets in exchange for a previous blog post. However, all opinions are my own.
