Cameron! What if I told you I have a step-son named Camron after the character in Ferris Buller’s Day off?
Turner Classic Movies does an introduction before the movie and cast and crew interviews after the movie. It doesn’t hurt to stick around after Ferris tells you to go home! Did we not learn this the first time we saw Ferris Bueller and he popped out after the credits? All those people had to go see it again to find out what they missed.
I enjoyed the movie as a teen. My husband LOVES the movie. In fact, he and his ex-wife named a son after Ferris’ best friend, Cameron.
When I heard they were putting it on the big screen for the 30th anniversary, I bought us tickets. Date Night !!!
It was fun to see it on the big screen again. We noticed a squirrel outside Ferris’ window, on the ledge. We didn’t realize how much Ferris’ played with his lucky rabbit’s foot. It was also full of 80’s nostalgia.
We went to a Luxury theater where we could recline and be extra comfortable. While I do enjoy the movie, I was most happy with the giant smile on my husband’s face. Every time I looked over, he had a smile. It made me really happy that we went.
If you missed it in theaters on Sunday, you still have a chance to see it on the 18th. You can find locations and buy tickets here.
